It finally happened!
The telephone call we were both dreading came throught last Saturday morning informing us Chris's dad had passed away. Without a second thought we drove down to Essex and joined the rest of the family and started making arangements none of us ever want to do.
We are going to spend a fair bit of time traveling between Chester and Essex over the next few weeks as Chris's mum is not taking Roy's passing well. Come to think of it neither is Chris so we may not be posting for a while.
Hope everyone stays safe and well on the cut and we both enjoy reading your blogs, they help to keep our spirits up and our dream alive.
With AmyJo's build now long complete and one of us into retirement. Chris I now look forward to cruising the network further afield now time allows Our blog is a diary for our friends and family to follow our adventures and, of course, you are welcome to join us as well.

Thank you Sue. Although Roy was my Father-in-law he was also a good friend, he'll be missed terrably.
We still have our build to look forward to and that lifts us. Reading your blog and those of others keeps us full of anticipation and excitement to know that will be us soon.
